Director/Psychotherapist

Fran is a counsellor and psychotherapist who has extensive experience working for community health agencies and in private practice.

Areas where Fran has worked include WIRE – Women’s Information and Referral; The Victorian Aid’s Council’s -Gay Men’s Health Centre; the Stepfamily Association of Australia and Link Health and Community’s – Disordered Eating, Addiction Recovery, Family Violence and Community Counselling teams.  Providing individual counselling, student supervision and running group programs for depression and anxiety, trauma, and family violence, Fran has gained both specialist knowledge and a broad understanding of many of the challenges people face.

Fran is a relational Gestalt psychotherapist and also draws on a number of other therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs. Fran believes in a holistic approach to mental health and is interested in supporting people to navigate life’s challenges and triumphs, in their relationships with others and their communities.

Fran is currently involved in an international study group run out of New York by the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity.

Fees: $120.

Nina Zadurian
B.A.Sc (Human Movement); Grad Dip Psych; Masters in Family Therapy; MAPS

Psychologist

Nina has been a registered psychologist since 2001. Nina has worked in the Community Health sector in a variety of roles. She previously worked in the disability sector, with people who have had an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their family members and carers. Nina has a Masters in Family Therapy and is a registered supervisor.

In the past 10 years Nina has worked as part of a counselling team seeing individuals and couples who present with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship difficulties, both in direct counselling and through group programs.

Nina has also worked in the private health sector in a GP setting with referrals coming through the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative.

Nina has an interest in the physical health sector and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) prior to her Postgraduate studies in Psychology and values the relationship between physical and mental health. As a result, Nina enjoys working with a range of people with varying presentations including people with chronic health conditions and works in a very holistic way.

Fees:  $150.00

A Medicare rebate may apply for some clients who are eligible for a mental health plan from their GP.  Check with your GP for further details.

Leah Mammino

B.Psych.Hons, M.App.Sc.(PsychCoach). M.Psych (Counselling). MAPS

Coach / Provisional Psychologist

Leah is a Tertiary Qualified Coach graduating from the Coaching Unit at the University of Sydney. She has been coaching, counseling, consulting and facilitating behaviour change with client’s and clinicians for over 9 years.

Leah currently teaches post-graduate students at DEAKIN University in the Counselling and Coaching program. And is a Dual Diagnosis Clinician at Monash Health.

The past 6 years has seen Leah work towards gaining her full registration as a Psychologist, while working in Community Health within the Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health field. Leah held a state-wide specialist consulting and clinical role for clients with the disability of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Other clinical experience Leah possesses is in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationships, domestic violence, trauma and trans-gender issues along with running therapeutic groups.

Leah has developed and run various training programs to up-skill clinicians in her field.

Leah draws on a broad variety of therapeutic approaches in her coaching and counseling, including: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Approaches (IPT), Action and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Positive Psychology.

Leah has broad life experience in working within the unemployment sector, conducting Aid Work for AUSAID and working for both Sate and Federal Government Departments.

Leah has the belief that people are the experts in their life, with respect and self-empowerment as a focus.
